01 The first step

Subjects should be tested on an empty stomach or two hours after eating, and take a urea [14C] capsule with about 20ml of cold drinking water.

Open the cap of the gas collecting bottle and insert the thin end of the blowing tube below the liquid level of the gas collecting agent bottle. The subject’s mouth contains the thickest end of the air-blowing tube and blows into the gas-collecting agent bottle with moderate and steady force. The air can be changed during blowing, but it is strictly forbidden to suck back. Do not spill liquid. Do not blow saliva into the air-gathering agent. The blowing time is 1~3 minutes.
